Warning! [XYZ Plugin Name] might cause issues

The warning:

The [XYZ Plugin Name] might cause issues when used in conjunction with Yoast SEO.Both Yoast SEO and [XYZ Plugin Name] create OpenGraph output, which might make Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networks use the wrong texts and images when your pages are being shared.

Cause

When you activate Yoast SEO or Yoast SEO Premium, we scan your active plugins for potential OpenGraph conflicts. If you see this message, the plugin listed in the warning may also output OpenGraph tags. This type of conflict, while not detrimental, can cause a lot of headaches when sharing content on social media sites.

Solution

We recommend selecting one plugin to generate OpenGraph tags for best results. Duplicate OpenGraph tags can cause social media sites to display incorrect titles, descriptions, or images.

If you want to use our plugin to generate OpenGraph tags, please disable the OpenGraph feature in the other plugin. Please contact the developer of the conflicting plugin for information on how to disable OpenGraph in their plugin.

You do not have to deactivate the conflicting plugin if you can prevent the plugin from outputting OpenGraph tags.

If you want to use the other plugin to generate OpenGraph tags, please disable the OpenGraph feature in our plugin.

The text or HTML editor looks like this:

In same cases, you may see a block that appears as the classic editor as shown in the image below

You will need to convert this block to a Gutenberg Block by clicking on the three vertical dots to the right and then selecting Convert. As shown in the image below. When you do that, the block will change to Gutenberg text blocks. Yoast is then expected to highlight these.

Why are my new videos on the bottom of my second sitemap?

Why are my new videos on the bottom of my second sitemap?

The Cause

These videos are on the bottom of your second sitemap because that way only the last video sitemap changes and Google only needs to re-fetch that one instead of re-fetching all the video sitemaps all the time.

The Solution

Do nothing. The last update time is expected to tell Google what』s new.

How to view Twitter sharing data

Twitter shows the wrong title, description, or image

The most common cause for Twitter using the wrong image is wrong or multiple Twitter meta tags. Please view the source code for the page.

Multiple sets of Twitter meta tags

If the source code has multiple sets of Twitter meta tags, another plugin or theme feature is setup to create tags. If you are unsure what outputs the additional tags, a conflict check can help.

One set of Twitter meta tags

If the source code has one set of Twitter meta tags and the tags have the correct information but Twitter doesn』t use it, the URL was likely shared recently. Your content is cached by Twitter for 7 days after a link to your page with card markup has been published in a tweet.

If the source code has one set of Twitter meta tags and the tags have the wrong information, please check that custom tags have been set correctly.

Twitter doesn』t show an image

Please make sure the image meets the requirements for the card type: Summary card or Summary with large image card

The card validator can, also, be used on direct image URLs to check for errors.
